Albert George Lucier was a photographer based out of Powell, Wyoming. He was born in Canada in 1874, moved to Powell in 1906 and died in 1962.

The John Rumm collection is made up of photographs of Yellowstone by Hiscock and Lucier. John Rumm was the curator of the Buffalo Bill Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West between the years of 2008-2014.

Purchased images include Lucier Photo. Privately developed images come from Van Doran Photo Shop, and the Lorimor Studio. These pictures and postcards were most likely purchased or taken on a trip to Yellowstone as souviners.
