Scope and Contents
The Winchester Repeating Arms Company records relating to World War I date from 1914 to 1923. Included are correspondence, memoranda, letters, and other materials. The correspondence and memos include letters to and from the U.S. Government and interdepartmental communication. There also are press clippings, assembly reports, delivery schedules, order lists and other material relating to the Company's participation in World War I.
