October 10, 1918. New York, NY. To Philip from L.C. Boochever of the U.S. Treasury Loan Department re: his contribution of a work of art for the Fourth Liberty Loan Drive.
August 6, 1919. New York, NY. To Philip from H. Ledyard Towle, Chief, Indoor Division, U.S. Government Loan Organization, Treasury Department, Liberty Loan Committee re: loan of a painting to the Government for display at the National Gallery asking Goodwin to give the painting to the government.
August 13, 1919. New York, NY. To Mrs. Ella R. Goodwin from H. Ledyard Towle acknowledging Goodwin’s gift of a painting to the U.S. Government.
