Scope and Contents

Ned Frost writes a description of the Grizzly Bear and how it was at the top of the food chain in North America. Not much was really known about Grizzly’s until the Lewis and Clark expedition brought back stories of their encounters with Grizzly’s on their 3 year expedition. Ned also speaks to his experiences hunting grizzly’s in NW Wyoming. Frost also talks about old 4 Toes a famous grizzly in the Meeteetse, Wyoming area who was finally killed in 1908 after losing one toe in a bear trap.
