Scope and Contents

Jack Richard story of how a survey of snowpacks is done. The helicopter takes James Cox of the Cody SCS office back up the Wood River to the headwaters of the Greybull river in the vicinity of Franc’s peak. Mr. Cox will take his instruments and measure snow in various locations heading down to the old ghost town of Kirwin. The helicopter picks Mr. Cox up in Kirwin and they fly back to Cody with measurements to determine how big the snowpack is to determine how much water can be available for irrigation.
