MACAU: Enroute via water (junk boats in front). Large fenced in field (mostly grass)-men in uniforms (police?) and a motorcyle (#25 shows lots of men and motorcycles). Shinto Temple. Scenic park-like location overlooking water. A lot of Junks on the water (fishing?). Junks tied together at the docks. Ruins of St.Paul's 17th Century Catholic Religious Complex. Views looking down on the city from high up. Bronze statue of a man, vases with flowers around him.
KOWLOON - encompasses the northern part of Hong Kong, on the mainland across Victoria Harbour. Boats in the harbour. Views of the city from high up.
HONG KONG: People (mostly children). Boats-various kinds, and ships. Double-deck buses. Floating restaurant. City housing. Scenic views. Street scenes. Red China Border (as seen in folder #34,slide #9)-women and children standing w/Eloise Stock. Man plowing field using an ox to pull the plow.
SINGAPORE: Residential area. A mass of boats (all junks?) docked in a bay and buildings/skyscrapers in the background. Tiger Balm Gardens-giant (laughing) Buddah. Tiger Balm Gardens entrance, multiple statues and elaborate sculpted displays. Man and Eloise, outdoors, in front of what appears to be white towels hanging over wooden rods-chopped wood in front-thick vegetation and trees in the background. Cassowary in captivity-ornamental wall separating it from the visitors. Orchid in a hanging container. Rubber tree sap, also known as latex, being drained from a tree.
BANGKOK, THAILAND. "The Chedees of Wat Pom"-Wat Pho, Temple of Reclining Buddha. Scenic. Standing Buddha. Democracy Monument. Temple with 6 tiers on top and carvings(?) of men and women on each tier except the very top. Thailand Palace. Trolley with multiple cars. Grand Palace of Bangkok. Rickshaws. Gold Phra Buddha Jinaraj. Rice making-3 people in the water, bent over.
Cruise ship record of U.S.Citizens on board. Ship sailing from Hong Kong to Seattle June 12,1928 to July 2. Paul Stock, Will Richard (both of Cody) and 2 others on board (Colorado and Iowa).
