Scope and Contents
Illegitimus non sunt carborundum is a mock-Latin phrase that translates to "Don't let the bastards grind you down". In the center of the picture is a gold "S" and "Texaco's logo in the middle" of the S. A Hereford steer standing on the left of the S with the Quarter-Box-P brand on it, and a 4 x 4 Buck on the other side. Other things in the painting: His Cris Craft boat on the water, a fly-fishing pole, shotgun, cowboy hat, oil field, cowboy hat and blue cadillac(?).
