Daily Athenaeum, Friday, Mar.19. "'U' Riflers prepared To Defend NRA Title". Fired at WVU stadium range. The Mountaineers are the defending tournament champions and they have sights set on a repeat performance of last year's record-setting score of 1,173, since the sectional score determines the national champion. 8 varsity shooters and 4 freshmen (Patricia Kinsella is one). At least 8 coeds will be competing for the trophy presented to the top woman shooter. WVU's Miss Kinsella is tabbed the favorite.
