Dear Mrs. Foster: It is a great pleasure for us to decorate you with the ANSCHUTZ Needle of Honor in gold in recognition of your Team Victory at the 40th World Shooting Championships at Phoenix. Congratulations. This needle represents a special decoration for holders of World Records, World Champions, holders of Olympic Records and winners of Olympic Gold Medals, who have won the record or title with an ANSCHUTZ sporting rifle, i.e. in individual matches or as member of the winning team. This Needle of Honor may be presented only once to the victorious shooter, also if he wins more World Records or World Championships. Etc.
