U.S. Marksmanship Unit Team Makes New Records. Article in May 1 newspaper. Members of the U.S.Army Blue Team, the foursome are recognized throughout the world as stalwart competitors in Int'l rifle competition. Each holds impressive lists of national and international records and achievements. Foster, instructor-shooter for the team, has held or holds over 100 national records, both team and individual. This year alone, he has extablished 25 open... or service records. Foster has earned a total of 4 Gold Medals, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze in international events. In 1966 he set the world's record in the 300 Meter Free Rifle Kneeling event at the W orld Championship in Wiesbaden, West Germany. Foster has been awarded the Distinguished Rifle and International Rifle Badges, 2 of the 3 highest shooting achievements recognized by the United States.
