Ft. Benning, GA. Article not published until May 21. Headline:Service Title...Soldier Shooters win I-S Crown. Paced by its trio of "supershots," Army captured 12 of 15 individual events in the Interservice Int'l Championships here. (all previous articles said 13 of 15). Maj. John Foster led the Army assault by winning three events: Army Rifle, Air Rifle and Three-Position Smallbore Rifle. Capt.Lanny Bassham added titles in the 300 meter Free Rifle and Standard Rifle. Other AMU shooters to score were Maj.Lones Wigger Jr.in English (Prone) Match and SFC Bonnie Harmon, who repeated his 1974 Standard Pistol victory with an identical score of 574.
