Shooting Meet Opens Today. Defense Secretary Hermenegildo Cuenca Diaz today will open the fifth Benito Juarez Int'l Shooting Tournament at the Vicente Suarez range, with the participation of 268 marksmen from 13 countries, organizers announced Friday. The participating countries in the tournament slated to run through Thursday are: W.germany, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, the United States, the Philippines, France, Peru, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Venezuela and host Mexico. Accompanying Cuenca Diaz in the ceremony scheduled to start at noon will be Mario Vazquez Rana, president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, and National Sports Confederation chief Jose Garcia Cervantes.
