Headline: Wigger wins 2nd straight gold. Black Canyon Shooting Range, Phoenix, AZ. Maj. Lones Wigger wrapped up his second straight gold medal as he successfully defended his title in the free rifle match. Wigger who also won the big bore standard rifle match, posted a 3 day aggregate of 3411 out of 3600 to defeat the field of 29 entries... Sp5 David Kimes USAR, trailed Wigger in free rifle match w/3364 points. He had started the day in 3rd place. Maj. John Foster, USAR, Bozeman MT., finished 3rd w/3358 points.
