"Business News" Profile of John Foster. Foster joined the Real Estate firm of Waite and Co, previously passed the Georgia state license exam. 1958 graduate of University of Montana. After graduating, he became a member of the USAMU as instructor-shooter, participating in international shooting competitions. From 1961 through 1963, Foster returned to Montana as a forester w/the U.S. Forest Service in the Eureka and Libby areas. Returning to the Army in 1964,he again joined the Army's International Rifle Team where, w/the exception of 2 tours to Vietnam, he remained until April of this year. (Note: Foster retired from the Army 6/1/80). For the last 8 years of his Army career, he was officer in charge of the Army Int'l Rifle Team. He competed in 6 (5) World Shooting Championships, the 1960 and '68 Olympics and was assistant team captain of the 1976 Olympic Shooting Team. Etc....talks about his 34 medals and world shooting records.... Presently,coach of the Bobcat rifle team a MSU.
