"This bulletin listing award winners only, becomes final on June 1, 1965 and awards will be mailed then." Members of these teams are selected by a special Selection Board and consideration is given to recommendations submitted by coaches and competitions officials who have observed the nominees both in competition and daily activities. The nominees shooting ability, sportsmanship, leadership, scholastic standing and general qualities are all considered. Due to the limited number of team membership openings it is never possible to select all who have received nomination. This is unfortunate but understandable when it is realized that 2,204 individuals and 472 Teams fired in the NRA Intercollegiate Sectionals this year. Winners who fired Int'l. type sectionals were considered along w/those who fired Conventional type. Our congratulations are extended to all team members etc.... Members of both the 1st team-rifle and pistol- will be awarded the Golden Bullet, a special certificate and a brassard. A special certificate laminated in a display plaque will also be awarded to the school represented by members of the 1st teams. Members of each of the 2nd teams will be awarded a special Certificate. No mention of Trish in the scores.
