* Jan.7 - Laurel High School grad, 18-year-od Patricia Kinsella of Fort Meade, became the National Rifle Association's Girls Indoor Small Bore Rifle Champion by scoring 388 out of 400 points in competion. * May 23- Photo of WVU Rifle Team: Tricia, Jack Writer, (unknown) and Dean Bahrman. Also a photo of the swim team, 1 female member. Caption; These two girls made the team, but the Southern Conference won't let them jeopardize the egos of male athletes.
