Opening ceremony at the 39th World Shooting Championships.Wiesbaden W.Germany. The USA Shooting Team. Newspaper clipping: "Sharpshooters Aimed for Air But Didn't Hit the Mark" US Team set out for the World Shooting Championships in Wiesbaden, W. Germany, July 14-24. Because of airline strike, only 12 members, and not firearms, had places on a commercial flight not affected by the strike. The rest of the party of 48 chartered buses to "Maguire Air Force Base" in NJ, to pick up an Air Force jet tanker. Youngest member of the team, Trish Kinsella, 20.
