The pits of Wiesbaden's renovated Rheinblick ranges which are currently recoiling w/the collective blasts of the 1966 World Shooting Championships. The drawers - a plain red flag (enclosed in folder is more like a paddle - w/ "Match" on the red side) which is waved back and forth in front of the target to signal a complete miss - aren't needed because the 1,023 cream-of-the-crop shooters competing from 53 nations seldom miss the black center of the target, let alone the target itself...etc. Ear plugs aren't a must, Admission is free, Road markers are well placed - etc. Tidbits: the world championships have been held since 1897 - even during war years; the event was held only twice in the U.S. at Camp Perry, OH, in 1913 and 1923.
