First Place United States of America. Awards - Sterling Silver Medals. Team Score 11291. Foster was 4th highest individual w/1134. * Award Certificate. Dec. 5th and 6th, 1959. NRA State Championship Certificate of Award issued to John Foster for being State Champion in the 1959 California State Indoor Gallery Rifle Championships. * Periodical clippings: "Eight Rifle Club Ranges Used in California State Match"...Foster wins with 1385 score. Lt.John Foster dominated the Berkeley event with a 593 metallic-sight win and a 792 victory with any-sights to wind up with a excellent 1385 grand aggregate.
