"Nephew of Mrs. N.E. Dixon Will Shoot on Olympics Team" John Foster, of Springfield, nephew of Mrs.Dixon, left last night for Rome as a member of the U.S. Olympics team. Foster will shoot in the rifle match. He won the state rifle championship of Montana while he was a student at the MSU from where he received his degree in forestry. After graduation he was in the Army 2 years stationed at Ft. Benning. This May and June he was assigned to a European tour participating in rifle matches in Wiesbaden, Rome, Zurich, Stockholm and Helsinki.
