Picture of Alsace; one of the most beautiful regions in France. Known for its Christmas markets, castles, wine road and its proximity to Germany. The stamp: J.J. Audubon; “67 Entzheim – Bas Rhin” (cancellation stamp). 67 Entzheim is a commune in the Bas Rhin in Grand Est. in north eastern France. Bas Rhin is a department in Alsace which is a part of the Grand Est. super region of France, the name means ‘Lower Rhine’ referring to its lower altitude. The picture is “The valley of Munster.” Jean is in France for shooting competition. “Shooting has not gotten better, Air (rifle) has been going ok”, etc. Love, “Bean”.
