Marie Thompson Alkire is the sister of Margaret Thompson Murdock. Marie, Margaret and Trish Foster sometimes shot in competitions together. The newsletter mentions their “Goddaughter” Jean Foster – had a great shooting year. It also says the Fosters went on the annual fishing trip to Canada with Mern and a family friend. Mernice was also a competition shooter (Marines).
