Scope and Contents
They lost their grocery store on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood when they were interned. Before moving to Hollywood in 1936, Susan’s father was a section foreman for the Union Pacific railroad. With special permission, she visited them at Heart Mountain in 1943 and again in 1945. Susan’s husband, George, was a native of Green River, WY. He was not interned but lost his job on the Union Pacific and Oregon Short Line. POSTCARD (copy): 1910, Sept.4 to Mrs. C.N. SUNADA. C.N. Sunada was George’s uncle.
