Deacon Ernest Uno, Aiea, HI, by Paul Tsuneishi with CC to Frank Emi and Michi and Walter Weglyn. A note from Paul at the bottom on L.A. Times letter reads: “This letter appeared after I had succeeded in getting the PSW District of the Japanese American Citizens League to apologize for JACL’s actions vis-à-vis the resisters of conscience during WWII. At no time have I, a WWII Veteran, or any of the resisters, ever suggested that Japanese American Veterans apologize for anything, to anybody.”
