Shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1942, when he was a small child, Inada’s family was removed from its Fresno, CA home and placed in a concentration camp near Jerome, AR. Now a professor of English.....and a recognized poet who has read his work at the White House, Inada was a visiting poet and Northwest Community College in Powell, WY.” Etc.
