It had traveled 2,000 miles and took 2 years to reach Heart Mountain from L.A.. He died a few months later due to the ordeal of the long trip. Mr. Deishi was a bachelor. Newspaper clipping: Powell Tribune, A dozen Cody High School students have pleaded guilty to vandalism at the Heart Mtn. relocation center site...On of the three remaining original relocation center buildings was damaged by a vehicle...etc.
