Correspondence: Margot Walk and ties to Eric Muller. Daughter of Maurice Walk, one of the top attorneys for the WRA in 1942. His title was Deputy Solicitor. He resigned in protest because he found the task (detaining Japanese American citizens) unconscionable and the legal theories supporting the detention of citizens to be “fascist” (his word).
