Scope and Contents
Most of the waterfowl we hunt are hatched and raised in Canada, but spend their winters in the United States. You need a Canada Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit to hunt: ducks, coots, sandhill cranes, rails, woodcock, mourning doves, geese, band-tailed pigeons, gallinules, and snipe.
