Yellowstone Boys' Ranch Wrangler - News Bulletin - "Choir Honors Handbell Gift by Mrs. Stock", 1975
Scope and Contents
Mrs. Paul Stock was a guest of the Ranch Choir in a Sunday evening concert in Cody. In their first public appearance, the Bell Choir performed on the set of handbells she has given the Ranch.
Mrs. Stock's gifts are also evident in Paul Stock Lodge. Houseparents have been busy with some extra decorating using special grants. The Stock Foundation, founded by her late husband, had previously allocated funds to help rebuild Stock Lodge after the near-disastrous fire of July, 1974.
The Name Paul Stock has been practically synonymous with Ranch growth from the 1960's until his death in 1972. Paul Stock Lodge was named after him in 1966 after a series of gifts, and more came for the major remodeling job which divided the large building into two housing units.
Mr. Stock was a major contributor to the dining hall building and he made possible purchase of additional acreage now called "Paul Stock I" and "Paul Stock II". Even more important, in his will he created an endowment fund which helps provide maintenance expenses for the 24 boys who live in Paul Stock Lodge.
