Certificate of Recognition to Major Margaret L Murdock, USA, Retired – A pacesetter in an uncommon field for women during her competitive years and one of the most accomplished women shooters in the history of U.S. rifle competition, the first woman to shoot on an international open team and win medals for the United States, and a 1976 Olympic silver medalist, Major Murdock will be recognized for all time within the Women In Military Service Memorial for her special achievements in the sports arena.
