Army Reserve Magazine. “That Rifleman Is a Lady, Sir!”, Captain Margaret Thompson Murdock, world champion rifle shot, resigned her captaincy in the Army last April to become a mother. Mrs. Murdock is now a captain again, thanks to a modification of Army regulations regarding married women officers with children.
