MS 582 - Belgian Buffalo Bill Club Collection
Abstract
The Belgian Buffalo Bill Club was founded in September 1906 during the Gent, Belgium visit of the Wild West show. The club went on until 1920 when it was renamed the Buffalo Club, devoted to pistol and rifle shooting. The club disbanded in 1940 due to the Second World War, but was reinstated in 1967. To this day the mascot of the KAA Ghent soccer club is the buffalo.
