Biographical or Historical Information

Wolfgang Pogzeba was born in 1936 near Munich, Germany.  In 1948, his family emigrated to the U. S. and shortly after settled in Denver.  He studied art history and educatiion at universities in the U. S., Mexico and Europe.  After a short time in the U. S. Air Force Reserve and teaching highschool, he devoted all of his time to his art.  As an artist he is most notably know for his sculpture, painting and photography of the American West.
