This notebook, in chronological order, beginning in 1958 and continuing up to 1998,  follows the correspondence and news stories of the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse herd. 

It starts with the BLM's announcement that the horses would be removed and follows the growing controversy about the herd and the resolution that was forthcoming. 

A large number of news articles appear over the years and continue through to 1998.

This notebook has many duplicates of the Blue notebook but not in the chronological order. 

Also there are many photocopies of news articles that have not been put in sleeves or in any order.

There are two loose leaf volumes containing letters and newspaper articles on the Pryor Mountain Wild Horses.  Beginning in 1958 there was concern for protecting this group of horses. The correspondence and news articles depict the problems leading to protection of the horses.
