Folder is letters and articles for Big Horn National Recreation Area. Jack Richard was part of a group who took the preliminary trip down the Big Horn river through the canyon. Pictures were used to sell the idea of the canyon as a recreation area. REA magazine shows before and after pictures of the Canyon. Magazine is November 1966 and Cody Enterprise articles were from October 6th, 1966. Includes photographs.

Articles written in the Cody Enterprise about Walt Bratten who was involved with Sioux Indian tribe for several years. Bratten came to the Cody area in 1886 and returned 20 years later. Bratten’s stories of Sioux at Old Faithful and his warning General Custer are not substantiated by any other persons.

Col. Cody’s talk is a recording given by Fred Garlow on Feb. 26th 1965. There are brochures artist including James Bama, MC Poulsen, Paul Dyck, and Harold McCracken. Included in the folder are articles about guest flying in a Winchester meeting. Harold Mckracken has an article about getting petroglyphs from the Basin Garden area between Basin and Greybull Wyoming. Tape recording.
