A $20,000 grant from the Sacramento-based California Civil Liberties Public Education Program was awarded to the Heart Mtn., WY Foundation to write a book on the draft resistance and the Fair Play Committee of the Heart Mtn. concentration camp during WWII. The book will be based on information presented at the “Protest and Resistance: An American Tradition” symposium/workshop held June 21-23, 2001 in Cheyenne, WY, the city where the trials were held over 50 years ago.
