Newspaper clipping: Obituary. Longtime Wyomingite Masa Suyematsu, 98, who died on Feb. 20. Born 1897 in Fukuoka, Japan and moved to Wyoming with her husband, Tsuchio “Benjamin,” in 1919. They had 6 children, all of whom attended college. Two of their sons, Tosh and King, both served with the famed Japanese American (Nisei) 442nd Regimental Combat Team in WWII.
