"The hospital shut down the unit, in use since late February, after the death of the second woman on June 30 and began an investigation into the deaths. That investigation is still in progress. George Kelemen Jr., a Rose VP, Thursday confirmed the deaths of the 2 women during or soon after relatively minor surgery. Both deaths were attributed to cardiac arrest, but reasons for the heart failures aren't known, Kelemen said."
