Abstract The collection includes two photographs depicting different historical moments in Yellowstone's history. One of the pictures is of the first automobile tour that took place in Yellowstone in 1915. This moment would change how Yellowstone is toured and seen, even impacting how tourists move through Yellowstone today. The second picture is of an Army pack moving through Yellowstone. This shows Yellowstone in the time before the National Park Service and when the Army ran Yellowstone National Park.
