MS 043 - Roland Reed Photographs

 Collection — Box: MS43.01
Identifier: MS 043
Abstract Photographs of Native American Indians by Roland Reed, probably taken primarily in Montana (including Glacier National Park) circa 1909-1915.  Most of the photographs are posed, showing the subjects outdoors wearing traditional clothing, often next to scenic natural features such as waterfalls, streams, and rock formations.  Some were published in James Willard Schultz’s Blackfeet Tales of Glacier National Park, 1916.
