30 – 4x8 inch Glass Plate Negatives from the collection of David R. Phillips focusing on William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody and the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show.

Collection consists of various published images of western scenes cut out of various publications, including Picturesque and Marvels of the New World, as well as French and German language books and newspapers. The plates represent scenes from the American west and give a good indication of how the United States was pictured in the mid-nineteenth century.

The items in this collection were retrieved from a trunk which Marilyn Brooks acquired from a descendent of Marie Ricard Goodfellow.  This collection consists mainly of photographs and various printed materials.

The International Cody Family Association Collection in the McCracken Research Library of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West is made up of letters, papers, photos and film that belonged to either members of the association or the association itself.  This collection also contains newsletters, genealogical charts and records of CFA member as well as CFA publications.

Sixteen photo negatives of town scenes and people, including Buffalo Bill.

This collection consists primarily of items acquired by James W. Wojtowicz during the research for his book on Buffalo Bill’s Wild West collectables.  These items are mostly dime novels, postcards, programs, and other ephemeral materials from the show.

Composed of several scrapbooks and a photo album compiled by and about Jack Rutherford
