Scope and Contents

P.68.097 - “Crossing Mountain Meadow Pass, Utah - 1/30/16 Man from Gunlock McFarland, Forrester Moody Self Mcallister, Forrester; J.F.S. Co. F. Winser, Enterprise Rafel- Sup. Forrester, etc.” Four men in hats sitting on horses and three men in hats standing next to the wagons being pulled by horses. One dog at the front. Ground and hills covered in snow.

P.68.098 - “En route to So. Ute Day School, Ignacio, Colo. 3-4 1917” A man in a hat holding the reigns to two horses, pulling a carriage out of a creek. Surrounded by trees and brush, with snow on the ground.

P.68.099 - “En route Santa Fe to Nambe Pueblo, N. Mex Jan. 9- 1912  2-28” Two men wearing hats and coats, with their legs covered by blankets, sitting in a wagon with trunks tied on, and attached to two horses. Snow on the ground.

P.68.100 - “En route Santa Fe to Nambe Pueblo, N. Mex Jan. 9- 1912  2-26” A man and woman standing next to a wagon with trunks tied onto it, attached to horses. Snow on the ground and a [telephone] pole to the side of the horses.

P.68.101 - “10/17/20” On a street in front of three houses. Two automobiles with two individuals next to each car. A man standing next to the stairs of the first visible house. Many tall trees in the front yards of each house. October 17, 1920.

P.68.102 - “Stone house, Ft Sill, Okla where Doris was born - 1912  3-52” The Shoemaker residence in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. A stone house with trees next to a fence in the front. Vegetation growing up the side of the house. A woman standing at the back doorway, with a little girl standing by the corner of the house. 

P.68.103 - “[POST CARD] Camp scene 40 miles from Dulce, N. Mex. Front row- 1. Mr. Wright, 2. Dr. Cross, 3. Mr. Weeks (Song R.R. agent), 4. Mr. Wright’s son. Back Row: 1. Mexican workman, 2. Jicarilla Ind. Man, 3. Self, 4. Jicarilla Ind. Man.” Four men sitting and four men standing by a white tent, a large twisted tree, and a table with pans on it. Boulders and trees in the background. One Mexican man and two Native American Indian men.

P.68.104 - “La Jara Day School, Dulce, N. Mex Mch. 1-1912  3-9” Native American Indian adults and schoolchildren standing in front of a white building with a dark roof. Fence posts in the foreground and a hill in the background. A wooden structure stands next to the building.

P.68.105– “Sup’t. Shelton’s automobile Shiprock, N. Mex Feb. 1912  2-97” Two Caucasian men in hats and suits and two Native American Indian girls in a car, driving down a street in Shiprock, New Mexico. Four houses and multiple trees are in the background.

On [tup] to control spread of smallpox 1-38” Three men in hats squatting by a wagon and carriage. Pans, a bag, and a box on the ground next to them. A horse tied to a post, a log structure, and a stone building in the background.

P.68.109 - “Grounds of Segar Colony Ind. School, Okla. May- 1918 3-44” Stone buildings of the Seger Colony Indian School in Seger Colony, Oklahoma, seen through multiple trees.

P.68.110 - “Fort Sill Ind School, Lawton, Okla Mch- 1918  1918  3-49” Three buildings and trees at the Fort Sill Indian School. A flagpole in the center.

P.68.111 - “Albino boy, Albuq. School 17” Two Native American Indian boys in school uniform at the Albuquerque School. One boy is an albino.
