Camp Perry, OH. Mrs.Tricia Foster of Beltsville, MD, finished second in the first day of competiton in the Nat'l Smallbore Rifle Championships with a 1,597 out of 1,600. The Univ.of Maryland student just missed the lead in the metallic sights event when Ryland Murden fired a 1,598. Army Capt.Carl Joos also had a 1,597, but Tricia was awarded second place because she had 118 center hits to Joos' 111.
