Abstract

Photograph copies of 28 watercolor paintings, a photograph (possibly of Wm Shepherd), 2 transparencies, 2 negatives of each painting and 4 copy pages of newspaper clippings of book reviews for “Prairie Experiences in Handling Cattle and Sheep” written by Major William Shepherd and printed in 1885 by O. Judd Co., New York. Watercolors, photographs and book reviews were mounted in an album. The five pen and ink illustrations of the book were based on these watercolors.

Harney, previously renewed in 1876 by Sen. Allison, notifying white men to give her kind treatment.  This same letter was added to on August 31, 1889 by Gen.
